KT: I have prepared a lot of questions today. Did you have a traffic accident?

MH: that was 2 years ago, Im completely okay now. But if I didnt work in this industry, I think I would not have encountered that accident.

KT: Why did you say that?

MH: The accident happened when I traveled with other actors, so if I was not in this industry, that trip would not have existed.[Secret Campus footage]

KT: What is your weakness?

MH: My weakness is my laziness. If something is not urgent, I would not take/ do it seriously. This is my weakness

KT: I see. What about strength?

MH: I think is No matter what kind of trouble or stress I have, I am able to forget them right away. For example, when I am at home enjoying my leisure time, the trouble/ stress would be forgotten naturally. I am a simple-mind person.

KT: Really can forget it right away?

MH: I have tried hard to do that, and thats my in-born personality.

KT: thats good

KT: this is a question everyone wants to know. Which type (of girls) do you like?

MH: the type I like?! that would be someone who can have a good chat with me, and who can understand me. In the past when I was not that busy, I did not require about the aspect about understanding my work. When I became busier, there are more inevitable occasions/ incidents, then it would be great to have someone who can understand my situation/ work.

KT: Where would she be?

MH: should appear in somewhere

KT: What do think about marriage?

MH: marriage?

KT: yes

MH: its too early now, rather than think about getting married, I would prefer paying more attention on my works. That is something very happy/ joyful, to build a family with a lot of blessings from friends & family . That will be a very joyful event.

KT: How about getting married in drama/ movie?

MH: Id love that (laugh)

KT: What do you do during leisure time?

MH: recently I start to learn playing golf

KT: golf?

MH: now, my hands are torn. I have to be more careful

KT: a member of SMAP, Goro Inagaki loves golf

MH: seems like hes playing very well

KT: yes

MH: Im still a beginner. do you play golf?

KT: no, Im an amateur as well

MH: so we can learn together

MH: First, being an actor, I hope to be recognized by more people, and could participate in many good projects. I desire to be an actor like this. And when I become a senior (actor), I want to be respected by the junior/ younger actors.

MH: How are you recently?

KT: very good. You are as handsome as before

MH: Some time earlier, I have been to Japan for the fanmeeting, the second one in Japan. Since it was held after the broadcast of BOF in Japan, I can feel more love as compared with the first one

KT: what’s your impression on Japan?

MH: my impression on Japan, I feel it very beautiful as I arrived at the airport, everything / everywhere is well-coordinated and in good order

KT: How many times have you been to Japan?

MH: 4 times

KT: 4 times, what do you think about Japanese food?

MH: very delicious, especially sushi

KT: Sushi

MH: I love sushi

KT: Seems like everyone would have said so

MH: I love sushi and also okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake)

KT: it’s similar to buchimgae (Korean pancake), right?!

MH: That’s a fresh idea, for referring okonomiyaki as buchimgae

MH: For photobook, it’s my first individual photobook, I want to show the real side/ face of mine, thus setting young & travel freely as the main concept

Sohu: Today’s theme for the show is on party. What kind of girl will attract you in a party?

李民浩：派对的话肯定会有很多漂亮的女生，但是我应该不会喜欢打扮得很华丽的女生，反而会被很朴素的那种女生吸引。
MH: There will sure be many pretty girls at a party, but I am not the sort to be attracted to those who are too dressed up (or made up). I will be attracted to simple girls.

搜狐新韩线：那么有没有想推荐给中国朋友们的好吃、好玩的地方？
Sohu: So have you thought of what to food and place to recommend friends from China?

李民浩：首先要是说到吃的，肯定不得不提起泡菜，所以我想推荐泡菜汤。如果大家想去购物的话，东大门、清潭洞，都是想推荐的地方。
MH: For food, there must be mention of kimchi, so I will recommend kimchi chigae. For shopping, Dongdaemun, Insa-dong (sorry I’m not sure for this), are places I will mention.

搜狐新韩线：与F4的其他成员经常联系吗？
Sohu: Do you keep in contact with the rest F4?

李民浩：嗯大家最近都忙着拍摄啊演唱会啊这些事情，不过还是会经常联系，有时间的话，会一起吃饭。
MH: Everybody’s busy with filming and concerts but we will still keep in touch. When possible, we try to have a meal together.

搜狐新韩线：大家见面的话都在哪里聚会？
Sohu: Where do you guys meet?

李民浩：主要是在狭鸥亭、清潭洞那边。
MH: Mostly around areas like Apgujeong, insa—dong.

搜狐新韩线：因为《花样男子》而一夜爆红，当时的心情如何？
Sohu: You became an overnight sensation after BOF. How did you feel then?

李民浩：嗯，《花样男子》还在拍摄的时候，曾经有一次户外拍摄，现场来了很多观众，那是我第一次面对这么多的观众，当时非常感谢大家，也有些不知所措，而且因为大家的喜爱而越发的感觉到了责任感。直到现在也是因为有大家的关系，而获得了奋斗的力量。
MH: When BOF was still filming, there was an outdoor shoot. There were many supporters watching and it was my first time facing such a crowd. Though I was very grateful for all the support, I felt overwhelmed and did not know what to do. Because there were many supporters, there is the responsibility to perform well. Till now, because of the support, I get the motivation to do well.

搜狐新韩线：一开始的梦想就是当演员吗？
Sohu: Was it your dream to become an actor?

李民浩：以前直到初中时期，我的梦想都是当足球运动员，进入高中以后，突然换了想法，想要更好的站在大众面前，展示自己，然后走上了演员这条道路。
MH: Before high school, I wanted to become a soccer player. After getting into high school, I changed my mind and wanted to stand out and be something. So I chose acting.

搜狐新韩线：那么当你还是一个无名的小演员，是不是坚信自己“总有一天我一定会成为顶级明星”？
Sohu: When you were still a struggling actor, did you tell yourself with confidence that you will make it someday?

李民浩：坚信倒是谈不上，不过确实怀着这样的希望在生活。无名时期大概有3年左右，这期间一直想着“总有一天我会得到观众更多的喜爱”，带着这样的希望，一直努力着。
MH: I wouldn’t say it was with confidence but I did hope for the best. I spent 3 years in oblivion and I did tell myself that one day, I will gain love from the audience. With this thinking, I tried my best.

搜狐新韩线：对自己现在的演技感到满意吗？如果一定要你说出一个不满意的地方会是？
Sohu: Are you satisfied with your acting skills now? If there’s one area you must improve on, which would it be?

李民浩：整体上来说，都还有很多不足之处，真的不是一处两处，我相信随着时间的流逝，我会成为演技更加流畅的演员。
MH: On the whole, there’re many areas I feel I can do better, not just one or two areas. I believe as time goes by with more experience, I will do better.

搜狐新韩线：很多人都说你和张东健有很多相似之处，都是22岁少年成名，对这一点，你怎么想？
Sohu: Many have remarked that you are like Jang Donggun, becoming famous at a young age of 22. What do you think?

李民浩：要说相似之处的话，嗯……能跟这样优秀的前辈放在一起做比较，我已经很有福气了。我希望等到自己有一些年纪的时候，也能（像张东健前辈一样）成为受观众赞赏的，受后辈们尊敬的前辈。
MH: I feel very happy and honoured to be compared to such a fine sunbae. I hope to be like Jang Donggun sunbae when I am more matured, to be held in such high regard and gain respect from juniors.

搜狐新韩线：现在除了演戏以外，还有很多的广告代言，也出了单曲唱片，觉得自己能够胜任“万能艺人”的角色吗？
Sohu: Besides acting, you have many cf offers and even released a single. Do you feel like a talent who is very capable?

李民浩：我只是用心的在做着每一件事。就拿唱歌来说，推出了一首非常轻快的作品，虽然还有很多不足之处，但是我想大家应该会喜欢看到我认真表现的态度。
MH: I can only do my best for everything. For singing, even though I am not good enough, I think everyone will appreciate me giving my best.

Sohu: Many are concerned with your next project, are there any plans?

李民浩：现在最头疼的部分，也是下一部作品的选择，一定要好好选择才行。除此以外，广告、画报这些活动应该不会停。
MH: The most difficult part is to choose my next project as I have to make a good choice. Additionally, other activities like cf filming and promotions will not stop.

搜狐新韩线：那么有没有特别想要挑战的角色类型呢？
Sohu: Are there any particularly challenging roles you hope to play?

李民浩：其实现在倒不会有什么特别执着的角色类型，不过毕竟我现在还很年轻，所以稍微明朗一些的角色，可能更适合一些。另外就是散发着强烈男人气息的角色，也很想挑战一下。其实我想演的角色还蛮多的。
MH: For now, there’s no particular role I must try. Since I’m still young, I would still like to play brighter roles. Roles that exude masculinity too. Actually there are many roles I would like to try out.

【 About the role in BOF 】

Q: In the drama, there’s a scene when GJP throwing the cake into a girl’s face and spilling juice over another friend’s jacket. What’s your feeling then?

LMH: NG… We had to make those scenes several times. Such a harsh scene. I said laughingly: “ all right.” Since her face was full of cream, I thought she’s very cute.

Q: If you were a billionaire as GJP ?

LMH: There’re a lot of things that we could learn from a boy who’s in rich position like GJP, for example, he’s very responsible for what he does. It’s a lie if I say that I’m not a little jealous of him, right? Obviously, being a billionaire, I could do anything, like buying a big house, or anything I want. Although it’s vague, I enjoy living happily with my family and those I love. Such a life is good enough.

Q: If your best friend and you love the same girl?

LMH: It’s really a dilemma situation. Love is something that you cant arrange beforehand. If I know she’s his girlfriend from the beginning, I absolutely orient myself to not have those feelings. But, should it occur in reality, she’s the person who makes final decision.

Q: How about the friendship of F4 now?

LMH: Yeah, because we are busy with our own career, we often have unscheduled meets. At late nights, we drop at my appartment. We don’t like drinking so just playing games.

Q: Becoming a star thanks to the image of a “khotboda namja”, have your life and thinking changed yet?

LMH: Many people recognize me now, which makes me feel more responsible for whatever I do. I suppose it’s the biggest change. Also, thanks to this role, I receive higher appreciation and get more chance to consider various scripts. And I’m very glad of it.

LMH: I know that I don’t look like I’m 22 ( laugh). But I love meeting others, playing games like people at my age and also traveling with my family.

Q: Your impression about Japanese fans?

LMH: Feminine? I see that Japanese fans are a bit different from other countries’ fans. As you see, being a foreign visitor, I use my mother tongue; however, I still feel your closeness and love for me.

【 About next projects 】

Q: Is there any role that you will like to try out?

LMH: Mysterious character. I like horror films. Kind of character has various faces. Like the Korean drama called " Bittersweet Life". I wanna try a role who’s wise and manly.

Q: Your next role?

LMH: At the moment, I’m carefully considering the next work. I have studied quite a few scripts. I’d like to meet you in a great work soon.

【About the photobook】

LMH: The photobook, titled <“旅” Travel with MINHO>, would be released on Sept 30th. It captures my daily life: talking with travelers in the street, or cute kids, wandering dogs…. Each moment is snapped unnoticeably.

Q: Do you want to say something to Japanese fans?

'BOF' Lee Min Ho unfolded his thoughts slightly about his 'outlook of love' and 'outlook of acting' in the Premier Event for BOF that was held at Yokohama National University Hall in the evening of September 5th.

In front of 4,000 Japanese fans that day, as a response to a question what would be the difference of the outlook of love between 'LMH himself' and 'BOF GJP', he said "While GJP's outlook of love is just very strong and aggressive regardless of the other party's feeling, real LMH approaches carefully at first when someone who I like appears, but becomes more aggressive when the other party shows good feeling to me and catches my sincerity. Therefore, I like the proverb most that 'Blessed are those who wait.' However, it is better to stay as a friend at first."

To the MC's question 'how you would act if you should love a girl that some other loves just like GJP and YJH', he answered "Even though it is my friend, it cannot be allowed if he breaks into our love as Jihoo did in the drama. However, I will not make such situation. I will tell my friend about this first and he might understand well enough". Also for the question 'Friendship first? or love first?" he answered "Friendship first, love after", which cause the audiences' applause.

LMH also mentioned about his outlook of acting that day.
For the question 'what kind of cast you would want to take', he revealed his implicit desire to take various experiences by saying "I would like to make action performance as well as heart-breaking melodramatic performance. But it would be better if it fits into my age."

For the question 'whether you had any hard times', he confessed "I almost gave up acting when I was a nameless actor" and showed he has considerably optimistic character, saying "I was hospitalized for 6 months due to car accident and could not work more than a year. This period was very tough time for me. But such a hard time probably made today's LMH"

Lastly, for the question 'how you spend time after 'BOF'', LMH indicated he was contacting various works, saying "Recently, I took photos in London and Sydney for a photoboto book. I lived with pleasant and bright attitude and put all these into photos. I will be able to meet my fans again with a good work soon."

MinSun TVB Interview in Taiwan (06/02/09)

Opening: Taiwan’s Meteor Garden and Japan’s Hana Yori Dango were big hits in 2002 & 2007. This year, Korean version “Boys Over Flowers” (BOF) had also been a success. The main cast Lee Min Ho & Goo Hye Sun visited Taiwan for BOF promotion last week. TVB had arranged an exclusive interview with them.

GHS: I have watched both the Taiwan & Japan version, and thought they were good. For Korea version, the plot is close to the comic that was very hilarious, thus I think it should be a more amazing one.

LMH: My view is more or less the same, though towards the second half of the series it feels a bit gloomy, the first half was really hilarious.

TVB: BOF has been a big hit across Asia, did you expect that before filming?

LMH: I have never thought of that. But I had strong desire to give my all for the character of GJP, therefore I put a lot of effort and tried my very best. And now it has become so popular, I am very happy and grateful.

TVB: You have become very popular after BOF, do you feel the pressure? If yes, how do you relieve that?

LMH: Instead of pressure, I have more a feeling of happiness. For the stress I got from current works…Since I don’t drink alcohol, I cannot relieve my pressure by drinking. It seems like I don’t have a concrete way to take pressure off, but I would forget all the stress after a sleep.

GHS: Since the Taiwan & Japan versions were successful, I had thought that Korea version would also be a success as well. And at the same time, I was afraid that our work would not be as good as the previous versions. So I’m just half confident and half worried. GJD is a bright, lively and brave girl that makes me feel that she’s very charming. Being as strong as a grass is another good point. I can understand the feelings of GJD, but audience might feel that she is faltering, very confused about love. This part makes me feel a bit disappointed.

TVB: A huge amount has been invested for the production on overseas shooting, branded apparels, super cars etc. Even Lee Min Ho enjoys those.

LMH: Since GJP is the heir of an affluent family, he is dressed in nice clothes, going to high-class places. I really enjoyed that part.

TVB: The relationship between GJP & GJD was disapproved by JP’s mum, what if this happen in reality?

LMH: In the drama, I also had a fiancé besides GJD. If this happen in real life, I would also choose the one I love. My personal view towards love is a bit different from that of GJP though, when being with my girlfriend, I want to be like friends that we argue and have little fights sometimes.

GHS: If this happens in reality, I would abandon the relationship if my parents disapprove that. Though we might have put a lot of effort to make it work, I won’t be that stubborn.

TVB: the main casts had car accidents in different occasion during the shoot; the drama had even stopped for one episode due to GHS’s injury from the car accident.

GHS: I was hospitalized due to the car accident; everyone came to visit me at the hospital. And jokingly said that we should stop filming for the drama that made me feel comfortable.

LMH: When Hye Sun was in hospital, I went to see her with others. Everyone felt sorry and worried when we heard about the accident; and everyone just left their works behind and went to visit her at the hospital. I feel that the team was really care about each other and was very touched.

TVB: BOF was a huge success, is there any chance to have part 2?

Producer: We cannot make another BOF without the permission of Ms. Kamio Yoko. In addition, we had already filmed/ used most of the plots in the manga. If we continue the story, we need to make that up on our own and it is not allowed by law in regards to copyright.

MH: I would definitely choose Geum Jandi. I'm very much like my role Goo Junpyo in reality, I like my girlfriend to be like a friend whom I can feel comfortable with. Not too different from GJP.

HS: If it's like in the script, where there is parental objection, there'd be pressure. I would try but if it's too hard, I'd choose to give up. But my view toward love is still constantly changing, so I'm also not to definite.

Minho has been very consistent in his answers when asked about his choice of who he'd like.

Physical description: check, fits Hyesun to a T.
Character: check, since we all know Hyesun is quite like Jandi.

On how Hyesun makes him feel when asked about the girls he worked with:
Minho said Hyesun makes him very comfortable. [It was during one of his Taiwan interviews]

Put all these together with his expressions during the BTS, Taiwan even Japan and how closely he pays attention to her preferences.

Minho can't very well say he'd choose Hyesun so he just keeps saying he chooses Jandi!

The TVB magazine scan that shaz translated, the first question on the first page asks about their first impression of each other.

LMH: When i first saw her, I thought she's very "bright" (as in shining) i.e. like a lively and optimistic person. Due to the fact that I had to bully her in the early part of the drama so the initial impression wasn't very good. After spending more time on the set, i realized she was exactly lively and optimistic like what I had thought her to be.

GHS: LMH always gave me the impression of a lively personality, exuberating youth but initially he was a bit awkward with strangers.

李 民浩答：有在韩国成为话题的Kiss镜头，那就是俊表在遭到母亲反对后发火，对丝草用了强烈的kiss镜头。导演说要演出强烈的感觉出来，我就照他说的做 了，结果用力太大，被逆光处理了，结果就像漆黑的一片看不出来了（笑）。还出了很多NG，导演说‘用轻轻的kiss'拍，结果我稍微张开了嘴变得浓厚的 KISS了，又NG了。
MH: In the scene that got everyone talking in Korea, Junpyo had wanted to prove something to his mother. The PD wanted something passionate so I did as he wanted. But it was too much (energy/passionate) so it was blacked out, cant see anything (laughs). There were many NGs. PD said softer but I opened my mouth and the kiss became too deep, then NG again. <<<>

问：拍KISS镜头前会做点什么吗？比如刷牙吃点东西，或者拍前练习啦。
What preparations did you do before filming the kiss? Like brushing your teeth, eating something or practising it before the take?

答；哈哈，练习对象没有，所以练习不了（笑)。拍KISS镜头前，和具MM开玩笑说我们去喝点大蒜营养品吧。结果我们还是做了刷牙漱口的准备，我想这也是对对方尊重吧。不过也只做了这些准备。
MH: Haha, no one to practise on so didn’t rehearse. (laughs) Before the kiss scene, I joked with Hyesun we should drink something nutritious [sorry not too sure if it’s right here]. Finally we just brushed and rinsed our mouths. I think it’s a form of respect for each other. That’s all we did to prepare.

问：KISS镜头很多，随着增多你们也就习惯了吧，以后也不觉得紧张了吧？
There were many kiss scenes. By and by, you guys should be used to it, so there should be no nervousness later?

答； 有很多KISS镜头，和当初比起来是拍的时候不会那么的紧张了。但是因为要表现出初恋的那种刻骨动情的画面是下了很大的功夫。因为具惠善的头一动就会被看 成是老手，所以一点都不能动。我也是不能对丝草有一点KISS老手的感觉。所以KISS镜头也要配合当时的心情感觉来演，很困难。
MH: It of course got better as the series went by, as we got more comfortable. But because we had to maintain the feeling that we were each other’s first loves who went through alot, we could not look too used to kissing each other. Even if Hyesun’s head moved a little while I kiss her, it would look too “pro” (sorry I cant think of a better word). So we had to maintain the first love awkwardness even after so many kiss scenes. <<<<>

问；[公园里的KISS镜头]是很有名的，可以作为这不电视剧的最佳镜头吗？
The playground kiss is very well-known and memorable. Can it be considered the best scene of the drama?
答；这部剧有很多明画面，不能去选。一点要选的话还是最后结束部分吧，大家看了就知道了。
俊表在知道父亲去世，为了继承家业去了澳门，如果是我的话，我不会去。如果没有去的话，和丝草就更快有了快乐结局。如果不得不去澳门的话，我也会带上丝草一起去的。

MH: There were many memorable scenes. I can’t say which is best. I think the best scenes were near the ending, as the audience can see. Junpyo had to go to Macau to take over his father’s business, if it were me, I wouldn’t have gone. Then there would have been a happy ending with Jandi earlier. I would also have brought Jandi with me if there really was no choice.

LMH's interview for the Secret Campus DVD in Japan which was filmed in Taiwan in June.

Part 1

Q : You debuted with the 'Secret Campus', and how did it feel?
LMH : At my acting debut, I think I was very nervous, totally lost and just busy speaking my lines without any time to breathe. My memory isn't clear on the details, but I think I was so nervous that the shooting was done without my knowing how I was shot.

Q : What was your hardest and enjoyable parts of the shooting?
LMH : The drama had many soccer-playing scenes. So I enjoyed my shooting the most because I like soccer and I'm confident of playing parts like that. As for the difficult parts, it seems that every moment was hard. Once I broke my forefinger while performing a fighting scene with my fist colliding with the other's, and I still remember that. That's why I appear all of a sudden wearing a cast in the later part of the drama, though it wasn't included in the story.

Q : I wonder what you were actually like in high school like the background of 'Secret Campus'?
LMH : I also seem to have had not a little rebellion. For example, I don't think that I liked listening to others. But I think I grew up faster, because I didn't make any big trouble when I was in the second and third year of high school. It seems I spent my adolescence very quietly.

Q : Which subject were you good at and poor at when you were in high school(senior high)?
LMH : I was good at PE(physical education) and poor at math.

Q : In high school, did you have anyone in mind like whom you did or didn't want to be a person in your future?
LMH : It seems that I didn't want to be the type of adult who talked big or showed off some success of them, but I just wanted to be a quiet and naively honest adult.

Q : You played the role of a student with a dream of being a soccer player. How well did you play soccer?
LMH : When I was in elementary school, there were eleven classes in all. I made the entry list after having selected better soccer players in each class, and they just came along with me without complaining. Whatever I said, there was no one to grumble about me.

Q : Was it because you played soccer well or you were good in fights?
LMH : Maybe because they recognized me as a good soccer player. I've bragged about myself for no reason (feels embarrassed). But I can't play soccer well now.

Q : Then, were you the best soccer player among all students in your elementary school?
LMH : Yes, it seemed that I was really good at playing soccer at that time.

Q : The following question your fans are interested in genuinely....Have you ever dated with anyone when you were in high school? If yes, what kind of date have you had?
LMH : Yes, I have dated with someone during high school. Dare I say how I did, we usually went to the movies. As being high school students, many places were not allowed to go so watching movies were what we did most while dating.

Q : wholesomely?
LMH : Yes, what we did were wholesome.

Q : In the drama, Du-hyeon had something confidential, but I wonder if you have a secret of your own..if you had some secret which you didn't want to tell to others.
LMH : I don't think I had any secret. It seems I'm not the style of having a lot of secrets.

Q : Are you the type of person who tells their friends anything?
LMH : I don't tell everything to my friends, but because I didn't have any particular things I did secretly, it's hard to remember what secret I had from my friends at that time.

Q : You are saying that you didn't really have any secrets, but you don't relatively tell important things to others?
LMH : No, I don't. I don't try to hide them, but I'd rather not tell others about me very often.

Q : Now we'll ask you something personal. Maybe your fans like it better.. Are there any hobbies you often enjoy personally?
LMH : I usually tend to enjoy playing online games. Because I can't go out a lot lately, I mainly enjoy computer games, which I have liked since high school.

Q : Aren't there many kinds of games available like sports and RPG games?
LMH : I prefer RPG, because computer games cause me to desire to win, and I hate to lose. Besides, there are rankings and positions in online games, and once I begin to play an online game, I can't help playing long (to raise my level). Now, I'm trying not to play online games deliberately.

Q : It's possible, I know....
LMH : (laughing) It could be called 'addiction', which seems to make me more competitive; at least, make me not want to lose. When I began playing with someone once, I got a bit tired with the gap getting wider against me.

Q : It's not limited to only games, but applies to everything, right?
LMH : Right. Maybe because I played sports in childhood, but I'm relatively competitive in everything.

Q : Do you have any special talent besides soccer and computer games?
LMH : I'm so sociable that I become close to people pretty fast. I'm not really free from being shy, but I think I'm more sociable than ordinary people. Is it sort of special talent, too?

Q : You bet.

Part 2

Q This interview is for Japanese fans and are there Japanese words to learn for them nowadays?
LMH : Do-jo Yo-ro-si-ku Oh-ne-ga-yi-si-mas (I expect your favor)

I can memorize simple idioms as I speak them.

Q : Which country would you like to go among those countries you have never been before?
LMH : Venezia

Q : In Italy?
LMH : I have heard that Venezia is sinking. Is it true?

Q : I have heard it before ,too.
LMH : Before Venezia sinks, I'd like to go. I also want to go to Las Vegas.

Q : Haven't you been Italy?
LMH : No, I haven't.

Q : Which food do you frequently eat recently?
LMH : I frequently eat bean-paste pot stew and kimchi pot stew. For health reason, I also eat beef.

Q : Do you like meat?
LMH : When I eat at home, I always eat more than one kind of meat.

Q : Do you know how to cook?
LMH : I can cook several kinds of food.

Q : What are they?
LMH : I am good at cooking kimchi pot stew, ramyeon(Korean noodle), fried egg rice and fried Kimchi rice ^^

Q : If your girlfriend come to your place, what food can you confidently make for her?
LMH : I'm confident of cooking ramyeon (laughs a lot), because chances are I won't fail. I can succeed 100 %. If I cook a big dish, it will be fried rice.

Q : This time, what is the dish you want your girlfriend to fix for you?
LMH : Just a few side dishes and rice...like those my mother makes.

Q : Then, you mean just a warm meal rather than a luxurious meal?
LMH : Yes. It's okay if it's not delicious, but it'll be better if it is.

Q : Won't it more difficult to make side dishes?
LMH : Yes, I think so. (laughs a lot)

Q : These days you might well find no time to rest enough, yet how do you spend your holiday?
LMH : I often hang out with my close people and friends, just chatting and having meals together, or I watch rental DVD movies, or play online games.

Q : What's the first thing you do in the morning?
LMH : I go to the bathroom still half asleep and brush my teeth. While I begin brushing with my eyes half open, I wake up.

Q : Reversely, what are the things you do before you go to sleep.
LMH : I turn on TV or my computer, and listening to music from the computer.. or watching a program on TV, I fall asleep.

Q : You mean you fall asleep with TV or the computer on?
LMH : Yes. I hate all the time until falling asleep except that I'm so tired as to get to sleep. Because I come to think too much, I like going to sleep using TV or the computer so that I don't have my head in the clouds.

Q : Do you remember what you dreamt recently?
LMH : It's been like a long time since I dreamt something. It seems that I haven't dreamt any dream ever since BOF was started.

Aha! I did..(as if something came to his mind) One time when I was sleeping in my car, I dreamt of a fire starting. As soon as I woke up, I started beating my coordinator, shouting to her, "Put it out!". And what's more, at another time, I ate Kimchi pot stew in my dream, and then upon waking up, said to someone next to me, "Give me some water. It's too salty."^^

Q : Your dreams felt like reality ?
LMH : Yes, they were very much like reality.

Q : Do you wear pajamas while sleeping?
LMH : I sleep in short pants or pajamas. When I am alone in my house, I often sleep only in underwear. But I prefer wearing short pants and a short T-shirt when my mom and sister stay with me at home.

Q : This is a difficult question.. I wonder when you feel lonely, or listless and a little down, what you do, for example, take exercise on purpose or talk with your friends on the phone..
LMH : I think I do various things: do exercise, or watch TV programs or movies to give impetus to me, or a special program about a person to help me empower my life. When I'm spurred by watching them, I feel somewhat energized.

It could happen that a person sometimes feels bored and uninterested while working. In that case, I watch such movies, which make me think, " Oh, I should not slack in my work. I should work harder". That helps me motivate myself.

Q : If you have any life mottos or philosophes from Korean proverbs ...
LMH : "Winners never quit, and quitters never win!"
When I was in my childhood, my parents gifted me a flat spoon-shaped wall-souvenir from their wedding anniversary trip. This motto was written on it. I was very touched by the words even though I was a kid. Up till now, that has been my personal motto.

Q : Which book would you recommend us, and would give us the reason why?
LMH : Lee Oi Soo's essay, Ha-Ahk-Ha-Ahk (Korean book).
Even young kids can understand it easily. It presents many useful ideas expressed in a simple and fun way. That's why I recommend the book.
