Netizens Pick the Best Drama Kiss Scene!

QOOK TV did a survey on 500 people aged 20~30 on the best drama kiss scenes from dramas after 2000. And the results were revealed on 11th June.

And the kiss scene between Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) and Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) in the drama Coffee Prince aired in 2007 was chosen as the best kissing scene.

2nd went to the kiss scene between Goo Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) and Geum Jandi (Goo Hye Sun) in the recent drama Boys Over Flowers.

3rd goes to the the kiss scene between Moo Hyuk (So Ji Sub) and Eun Chae (Im Soo Jung) in the drama ‘Sorry, I Love You

Below are rough translations of the BTS, based on the Japanese transcription.

@ 3:24: MH asked HS why did she avoided his kiss. He seemed irritated.

@ 3:37: The PD (if I'm not mistaken) said that MH's nose is big. The problem is only that.
Then they both laughed.

@ 3:54: MH said to HS "You want to ask a question again right? How was it, etc.."
(He really looked irritated because HS avoided his kiss).

@ 3:57: MH said to HS "No need to worry (about the kiss) anymore. It's the 4th already".
Then HS replied "Is it really (the 4th)?".

@ 4:03: MH said "It's the 4th time, (you) should not feel shy anymore".
HS once again asked "Is it really the 4th time?".
(I think HS just want to cool down MH.)

@ 4:08: MH said "It IS the 4th". (And he starts counting their kisses)
"At expressway, at cottage, and then at school (playground, actually)
and today's is the 4th one".

@ 4:32: HS asked MH "Did you hear what PD said?". Then MH said something but was not
transcribed. Then HS said "Because you really love Jandi"...they both laugh but MH
still looked unsatisfied over something...End.

From 3:54 until 4:29, MH really looked like an angry, mad, irritated, rejected boy friend while HS looked like "I didn't mean to reject your kiss, it's just that I'm shy in front of these people. Pls understand me.....". I never knew any junior and dongseng actor who's blunt enough to act like that (clearly shows his irritations) to his senior and noona co-star, unless ....hehehe.

Anyways, susamerica has already translated the whole BTS. I was laughing my head off realizing that THEY really are arguing in front of the camera... hahaha! This is strike two for Minho... he's really different when irritated... he just blurts out whatever he wants to say similar to that incident with Jaeha carrying Jandi and Hyesun liking it... hahaha!

I guess this is where that comment from the Taiwan trip also came about Minho saying that Hyesun hates him and does not like any of their kisses... Oh Minho, how much more transparent can you be?

Maybe LMH feels abused by GHS as she is directing him about how to turn his face to kiss??Cannot tell. Is Minho offended that Hyesun does not seem to find his kisses right and she's teaching him how to do it? wahahaha!

Over the loud Japanese narrator, I still hear LMH and GHS faintly arguing together about this way or that way, etc. LMH is making funny comments about GHS' nose,can't hear well..then I think he called her nose "a drinker's nose" and GHS laughs and says that she has not heard that in a while. hahaha

THEY ARE TOO CLOSE FOR WORDS I SWEAR! Minho teasing Hyesun like that is so undongseng like...I think reporter asked LMH about kissing GHS.


LMH: (addressing GHS, I guess) He is asking again what it is like (about kissing).

GHS: uhh..

LMH: Now, it is no big deal.

GHS: How come? Why?

LMH: (snickering) This is the 4th time. just another task...no feeling...

GHS: Why so?

LMH: Of course. This is our 4th one. One at the road, one at the moutain house, at the swing and now. So this is the 4th time. See?

I think Minho was really PO'd and pulling one off over Hyesun for revenge because she evaded his kiss... Now I understand why Hyesun looked so quiet in the video as if she wanted to make it up to him...Minho looks like a boyfriend on a rampage... He came with a mission and that mission should be done... hahaha!

Here he is telling the videographer that he has no feelings... And look at Hyesun in the corner.

Hyesun asking him why and how come... @ 3:21... listen to her tone...

You know what's funny here? Hyesun asking him how come it's supposed to have no feelings now like they're really supposed to feel something...

And in relation to that... Why does Minho have to say that it should have no feelings now? Meaning the first ones had feelings? hahaha!

Minho just wears his heart on his sleeves... He just blurts out whatever he wants to say and his facial expression says everything... very Goo Junpyo... hahaha!

GHS is saying hmm while listening to LMH talk. It is so funny the way they talk and argue and laugh almost seems like there is no boundary from BOF the drama to their real life interaction. hahaha.. And they are saying all these in front of the reporter/cameraman too!

GHS: (I think talking to the cameraman as she is now using honorifics) What are you doing?

GHS: Ohh, you like Jandi so. (LMH giggles.)

In the end, Minho really can't stay mad for long... he just likes Jandi so... and it shows in his smile... his heart melts right away... hehehe!!

That clip just kills me sisters... It's six sec long but my gosh! It tells an entire story! The flirtation... oh the flirtation is killing me! Min Ho was just like going at it like it was nobody's business and Hyesun is not stopping him! OMONAAAAAAAAAA...

Now i know what Min Ho meant in that Taiwan interview when he said that he thought he'd never get to the part where he'd kiss Jandi... like he's anticipating that moment all the time... THIS IS IT in action!

and yes, Min Ho... you really just can't wait... hehehe!

李 民浩答：有在韩国成为话题的Kiss镜头，那就是俊表在遭到母亲反对后发火，对丝草用了强烈的kiss镜头。导演说要演出强烈的感觉出来，我就照他说的做 了，结果用力太大，被逆光处理了，结果就像漆黑的一片看不出来了（笑）。还出了很多NG，导演说‘用轻轻的kiss'拍，结果我稍微张开了嘴变得浓厚的 KISS了，又NG了。
MH: In the scene that got everyone talking in Korea, Junpyo had wanted to prove something to his mother. The PD wanted something passionate so I did as he wanted. But it was too much (energy/passionate) so it was blacked out, cant see anything (laughs). There were many NGs. PD said softer but I opened my mouth and the kiss became too deep, then NG again. <<<>

问：拍KISS镜头前会做点什么吗？比如刷牙吃点东西，或者拍前练习啦。
What preparations did you do before filming the kiss? Like brushing your teeth, eating something or practising it before the take?

答；哈哈，练习对象没有，所以练习不了（笑)。拍KISS镜头前，和具MM开玩笑说我们去喝点大蒜营养品吧。结果我们还是做了刷牙漱口的准备，我想这也是对对方尊重吧。不过也只做了这些准备。
MH: Haha, no one to practise on so didn’t rehearse. (laughs) Before the kiss scene, I joked with Hyesun we should drink something nutritious [sorry not too sure if it’s right here]. Finally we just brushed and rinsed our mouths. I think it’s a form of respect for each other. That’s all we did to prepare.

问：KISS镜头很多，随着增多你们也就习惯了吧，以后也不觉得紧张了吧？
There were many kiss scenes. By and by, you guys should be used to it, so there should be no nervousness later?

答； 有很多KISS镜头，和当初比起来是拍的时候不会那么的紧张了。但是因为要表现出初恋的那种刻骨动情的画面是下了很大的功夫。因为具惠善的头一动就会被看 成是老手，所以一点都不能动。我也是不能对丝草有一点KISS老手的感觉。所以KISS镜头也要配合当时的心情感觉来演，很困难。
MH: It of course got better as the series went by, as we got more comfortable. But because we had to maintain the feeling that we were each other’s first loves who went through alot, we could not look too used to kissing each other. Even if Hyesun’s head moved a little while I kiss her, it would look too “pro” (sorry I cant think of a better word). So we had to maintain the first love awkwardness even after so many kiss scenes. <<<<>

问；[公园里的KISS镜头]是很有名的，可以作为这不电视剧的最佳镜头吗？
The playground kiss is very well-known and memorable. Can it be considered the best scene of the drama?
答；这部剧有很多明画面，不能去选。一点要选的话还是最后结束部分吧，大家看了就知道了。
俊表在知道父亲去世，为了继承家业去了澳门，如果是我的话，我不会去。如果没有去的话，和丝草就更快有了快乐结局。如果不得不去澳门的话，我也会带上丝草一起去的。

MH: There were many memorable scenes. I can’t say which is best. I think the best scenes were near the ending, as the audience can see. Junpyo had to go to Macau to take over his father’s business, if it were me, I wouldn’t have gone. Then there would have been a happy ending with Jandi earlier. I would also have brought Jandi with me if there really was no choice.
