Goo Hye Sun's Birthday Party @ Cafe Manolin (11/09/09)
Some of the fans who were able to go to GHS's birhtday party at her cafe, found these facts:
1) GHS herself sometimes visits DCinside anonymously.
2) She is planning to focus on taking an acting role maybe by next summer.
3) She is suppose to have 3 main leads for her movie. Everything was ready to start at the end of October or beginning of November, but the reason her movie has been postponed is that one of the main leads decided not to take on the role.
Fans were not told who are the cast members yet, but DCinside was given one hint about one of the lead---an actor who was involved in a speeding scandal--- DC fans are maybe thinking it might be Lim Ji Gyu.

When actually went to volunteer, she realized that what they really needed were people, not just money. The fan deeply felt that GHS is a sincere and warm person. Also, the fan hinted that GHS again may do volunteer work in December and there might be an opportunity to do volunteer work with GHS.
5) One fan came all the way from another country to celebrate GHS birthday. She was so nervous sitting so close to GHS that she would look down if GHS made eye contacts with her. The fan states that she could not believe how so pretty she is, even more so in real life. She thougt GHS might think her strange because she is just staring at GHS mesmerized by her, but that GHS was so nice to her and thanked her for coming from so far. This also melted her.

Goo Hye Sun @ SOUP FS Event (11/06/09)

Few interesting fan accounts for the Nov. 6, 2009 Soup Fan signing event at the Lotte Dept Store in Young Deung Po, Seoul at 2PM but started at 2:15 or 2:20 PM.

FA1:
She saw how pretty she is yet so thin--face is so small and her legs are like bird legs.
She put it in a letter wishing her to keep healthy as she crank into her movie.
She says GHS was smiling from beginning to end and very polite.
She wanted to say and talk so much with GHS and as soon as she stood in front of her her head just became too hazy.
FA2:
This fan points out an interesting event at the signing.
There were many students at the mall, especially male students.
They gathered together and shouted to GHS:
GHS laughed and so did the staff and all the fans.
Thanks kids!
(That is what the BOF staff yelled at GHS when she and LMH were so stressed out from the kissing scene at the ski lodge scene.)

When I look into them, I feel like I could fall into them.
But I still managed to make proper eye contact,
but no matter how many time I have seen them, I cannot remember...

This fan did ask when she is tarting the movie, GHS tolf her that it is delayed and will start in early December. Fan feels bad for GHS who will be working in the cold.

He is a college student with flexible schedule so he went to the event an hour early touring the Soup store which is for women. But he just looked at the catalogue with pictures of HS and waited. It was a weekday so not too many people. Few people waited with presents. The male student first in the line was a first grader in Junior HS. He was talking alot with the employees and fans saying how he plans to marry GHS noona and he will direct the signing affair. This fan thought him just too cute and too 4-D.
Due to some type of accident on the road, the sign event started 20 min.late. When the students started to use bad words, the older aunti fans scolded them. But nobody remembered being angry for the late start when they saw GHS coming down from the third floor escalator. He felt like he was witnessing an angel descending from heaven.
People were packed in that small space. Male students were telling her how pretty she is and some were calling her Geum Jandi. He and other male fans were captivated by her rustling skirt. When he came to his senses, it was time for him to get her signature. He told her that he did not make it in to her Birthday Party and wished her all the best. She said Thank You. Every time he has seen GHS, he always wonders if he is really looking at the real GHS or a doll of exact replica. That day he felt that her eyes were just so clear and deep like a lake that he sort of lost his balance.He said nothing happened.
Right after getting the signature, he got into a good corner to take her pictures. Taking pictures of entertainers were banned because of the fear that the pix may be used for illegal business purposes. But because she is so nice, she did not stop people from taking pix of her. He just took D-cal pix which would not qualify for using pix for bad purpose.
He also talked about these 10 male high school students who shouted.
Seeing GHS's happy, laughing face made him extremely happy to the point of having goose bumps. She lastly took pix with the staff of Soup and left. The male high school students followed GHS til the end. GHS was on her way to the evening part (Cinema Talk) of the AISFF.
GHS must have worn her short skirt suit without the scarf at the SOUP singing event.

Goo Hye Sun @ the set of her ASFF Trailer Directorial Job

YStar MC: Today's beauty is not only pretty in face but also very talented and smart. GHS truly fits today's description as a beauty. Y-Star exclusively met with GHS at her PD film work site.
After BOF, GHS' status has been upgraded to a Hallyu star status. GHS has authored, illustrated, directed and is continuing to show her many talents. Last September 24th at dawn, YStar visited GHS's work site where she is very busy directing. This is a cafe in Kang Nam. As soon as the last customer has left, the staff is quickly getting ready to film.
@1:02 GHS is giving direction to the cameraman and to Hyun Jin (the actress in) to lower her head and to shoot the scene again. She thanks the staff and laughs.
YStar: Through an ardent push from Sunbae Actor Ahn Sung Gi, GHS has been selected to direct a short trailer for the 7th AISFF.
@1:20 GHS: I initially wanted to make a 30 second trailer of a love story with a sad goobye theme, but Ahn sunsangnim (addressing Ahn as her mentor/teacher) proposed more hopeful theme. So, I am reconsidering the theme with a lingering tone of hope.
YStar: Admiring GHS's dedication and discipline, Ahn visited GHS at the the filming site despite that fact that he has other engagements at dawn the next day as well. Ahn finds it difficult to hide his excitement over the fact that GHS is participating to energize and enrich the AISFF this year. It makes him more energetic!
Ahn: first of all she likes and loves movies. She is also preparing for a full-length movie right now. I approached her to ask her to direct the trailer as a sort of a warm-up exercise. She is young and I stongly felt that she will have fresh, original and lively ideas to make the annual festival more alive this year.
YStar: Ahn came to cheer GHS on and he even thought about the midnight snacks for everybody while working so hard into the dead of the night. GHS thanks him and she says that this cafe shop has delicious food. They are talking together about the donuts and offering each other food. The main star of the trailer is Suh Hyun Jin who is GHS' very close friend and also an actress for GHS's.
Suh: She is a type of director that comes to work very well prepared already. She herself is an actress so she is extremely considerate of other actors such as giving me time to rest and sleep. Working with GHS is very comfortable and easy.
YStar: Through much converstion and communication with the actors, GHS is a type of director who tries to bring out the highest form of potential from each actor. So, before the start of the film, GHS is discussing today's "conti" harmoniously with Suh. Like a good director, GHS even examines the details of the costume that Suh will be wearing. GHS says to just squeeze into it,,,it is a clothes for the juniors...it is so tight (Suh),,,, your face is turning red (male staff ) (The clip and the sound do not match so in this particular video.)
GHS as a director show her plain everyday self. These days, everythig that she does create interest, even as she is preparing for the mystery musical movie. Ahn states that these days it is not enough to know how to do just one thing. He admires GHS's efforts in yet another field from acting, Ahn adds that if one feels happiness from what he does and others also feels the happiness from what one has done, then that is enough. Of course, when one tries more than one thing, I believe that there is a need for even more effort and patience.
GHS: I feel I don't yet deserve to be called artist, director, etc. I still have a lot to learn and in a way I am still a student.
YSTAR: GHS is a talented and AISFF will be even more emriched through the participation of GHS this year. GHS promised to work hard on behalf of short films and Ahn asks for much interest and attendance at the 7th AISFF this November even if to check out GHS's short trailer as a PD.

Synopsis:
AUGUST RUSH is part romance, part gentle fantasy, but this sweet drama is all heart. But Lyla's father forces them apart, even though she later learns she's pregnant. Later, an accident lands Lyla in the hospital, and though her father tells her that her baby died, the child survives and is given up for adoption.
AUGUST RUSH jumps to the present and begins to follow Evan (Freddie Highmore), an 11 year old who has grown up in a boys' home. As Evan embarks on a crusade to find his parents, he imagines he can communicate with them through his gift for music. His journey to New York City brings him into contact with Wizard (Robin Williams), a man eager to capitalize on the child prodigy's talent.
Wizard gives Evan the name August Rush as he begins performing all over the city, but the boy's ultimate goal is to find the parents he has never met. From FINDING NEVERLAND to CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, Highmore has displayed an almost prodigious talent himself. He's a gifted young actor, and this emotional story is the perfect venue for his acting.
AUGUST RUSH isn't a film for the cynics, but even the hard-hearted in the audience will have difficulty not being touched by this sentimental film. As in Evan's life, music plays a central role in AUGUST RUSH, and it's tough not to let your heart soar along with the melodies. Though it could draw comparisons to OLIVER! and ANNIE, this is a unique and heartwarming film.
